GEO-LEO - ist die Virtuelle Fachbibliothek für Geowissenschaften, Bergbau, Geographie und thematische Karten.
In dem Portal bündeln die Universitätsbibliothek Freiberg (UBF) und die Niedersächsische Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek Göttingen (SUB) die fachlichen Bestände (gedruckte und elektronische), Informationsangebote und Dienstleistungen der von ihnen betreuten Sondersammelgebiete:
   * Geologie, Mineralogie, Petrologie und Bodenkunde
   * Bergbau
   * Geophysik
   * Geographie
   * Thematische Karten.
GeoGuide - geowissenschaftlicher Fachinformationsführer betrieben von der SUB Göttingen und der UBF Freiberg.
Derzeit sind im Geo-Guide ca. 3.100 relevante Internetquellen nachgewiesen.
The Multilingual Thesaurus of Geosciences (MTG) - is a working tool for indexing and retrieving geological information, and a switching mechanism between information systems in different linguistic environments. The database version (MULTHES) which is in use at the Geological Survey of Finland contains 8 languages. The MTG contains preferred terms called "descriptors" and non-preferred terms called "non-descriptors". The descriptors are the recommended terms used to describe the content of a document in bibliographic databases. The MTG is designed to be compatible with the American Georef Thesaurus, the French PASCAL-GEODE lexique, and the German (BGR) GEOLINE Thesaurus.
