Course reserves/digitisation order

A course reserve contains books from the library's holdings, journal articles and/or other documents relating to courses and usually exists for the duration of one semester. To make a course reserve for your course available in the reading room of the ULB Central Library or in a decentralised library, please contact the circulation desk of the Central Library (+49 (0)251 83-24032, ulb@uni-muenster.de).

You can also have journal articles or excerpts from books digitised by the ULB in order to provide the students in your course with accompanying literature in digital form.

Improving students’ information literacy

The ULB offers different levels of training for your seminar groups. The students can take our audio tour independently to get oriented, and upon successful completion of the corresponding test in the Learnweb, they also receive a certificate of attendance. We instruct you and your students in basic researching skills using a combination of E-Learning and on-site training (Webquests), which are tailored to specific subjects. We can conduct these trainings in your seminars, or we can teach your instructors ahead of time. You will find advanced courses, for instance in reference management, on our trainings website.
