Music collection

The music collection consists of old music printings and manuscripts (as proprietary possession and as deposit). It also contains personal papers, collected letters and autographs of musicians and composers. The collection was established before the Second World War. The focus is on Westphalian composers of the early 19th century, such as the cousins Andreas and Bernhard Romberg and the flautist Anton Bernhard Fürstenau.
